Rosemary Gould - violin and viola

Rosemary gained an Associated Board scholarship to study the violin at the Royal Academy of Music and as a freelance violinist with many orchestras, In addition to teaching the violin and viola and coaching chamber groups at Bishop’s Stortford College, she is an Associated Board examiner and mentor for the CTABRSM teaching course. She really enjoys working at the college as there are so many opportunities for music making and as an enthusiastic gardener, takes keen interest in the gardening projects around the campus!
Ysobel Latham - violin and viola

Ysobel won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music where she studied with Frederick Grinke, having spent three years in the National Youth Orchestra. This was followed by a year at the Brussels Conservatoire. She was in turn a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, ENO and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. She played the Tenor Viol in the London Consort of Viols, playing on the then BBC Third Programme. For many years she has taught the violin and viola at Kings College School, Cambridge and Bishop's Stortford College, and sings in the London Madrigal Society. She loves watching cricket and football and is a keen supporter of Aston Villa.
